Synergen GA, by Clariant, is a glucamide-based wetting agent and solubilizer whose chemistry has been put to a real test: formulated into a glufosinate herbicide and applied to broadleaf weeds, grasses, and sedges in arid field conditions, it produced the chlorosis-then-necrosis progression that confirms a herbicide is actually working, and it held up in comparison against a commercial glufosinate ammonium product already on the market.
