SPRAKIL S-5 Brush Control Granules contains 5% tebuthiuron and, as the name implies, is most effective on woody brush and vine species. SPRAKIL S-5 is an excellent choice for woody vegetation control along fence rows, around utility poles, under transmission tower legs, etc. Like all other SSI Maxim Company’s granular herbicides, SPRAKIL S-5 is non-corrosive to skin, eyes, and metals, and carries only a CAUTION signal word, indicating low mammalian toxicity. Depending on species to be controlled, SPRAKIL S-5 is applied at the rate of 1.5 to 4.4 oz. per 100 sq. ft. For individual or spot treatment woody plant application, apply 2 oz. of the granules around the base of the unwanted individual woody stem.
